Happy Birthday to ...

Did you know it was Buddha's birthday today? Well we know, because we get a holiday in honour of it. We went to Dragon-i for dim sum again, and then headed for the beach quite late for some night swimming. Very refreshing.

One in all

Got a new all-in-one printer the other day, an HP Photosmart xxxx (can't remember the number and, incredibly, I just can't be bothered to look right at this moment. I might fill in the blanks later, in which case I'll delete this rambling parenthetical sentence and you'll never even know. Ha.) It seems to work well, and the standalone photocopying function is useful. Even more importantly, thanks to good old Fortress, it came with $150 of ubiquitous Park n Shop vouchers, a ream of paper and a Microsoft Office mug!!! Now I can look really geeky at work.

(By the way, to counteract the geekiness, or maybe reinforce it, not sure, I'd like to say that I'm on Facebook now)

What hiatus?

A dark, warm, rainy afternoon in SoHo. Lovely! (By the way, what I'm doing is casually posting this totally ignoring the fact that there's been a gap of 2 months)

Since the last entry we've done quite a bit, including spending almost 3 weeks in the US (Texas mostly, and a couple of nights in San Francisco).

Last Friday (11th) I went to see Matt Redman in concert. It was really good, and very inspiring. I won't blather on about that too much, but in case you've never heard him or his songs, here's one called Facedown, on YouTube, and here's another one, also on YouTube, but without video (ironically enough).

Lots of plans, lots of things to do ... including making some merchandise available on CafePress! Keep an eye on my little shop there for some goodies that you probably won't want to waste money on, but perhaps you know someone who would ..?
